Correction and Retraction

Acceleration: Multidisciplinary Research Journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the published scholarly record. When an error or problem is identified after publication, the Editorial Team will assess the matter and take appropriate action based on the nature and significance of the issue.

Correction

A correction may be issued when an error in a published article affects the accuracy or clarity of the article but does not invalidate its main findings, conclusions, or scholarly contribution.

Corrections may concern, among other matters, typographical or factual errors, author information, affiliations, references, figures, tables, or other information that requires amendment. Corrections will be clearly identified and linked to the original article whenever technically possible.

Retraction

Retraction may be considered when an article is found to contain substantial problems that seriously affect the reliability or integrity of the published work. Circumstances that may lead to retraction include, but are not limited to:

  1. significant errors that invalidate the main findings or conclusions;

  2. fabrication or falsification of data;

  3. substantial plagiarism or unauthorized use of another person's work;

  4. duplicate or redundant publication;

  5. unethical research practices;

  6. serious authorship or contribution violations;

  7. manipulation of the peer-review or publication process; or

  8. other circumstances that substantially compromise the integrity of the article.

The decision to issue a correction or retraction will be made by the Editorial Team after an appropriate assessment of the available evidence. Authors may be asked to provide explanations, supporting documents, or other relevant information.

When an article is retracted, the original article will normally remain accessible for transparency and preservation of the scholarly record, but it will be clearly marked as retracted. A retraction notice will explain the reason for the retraction to the extent appropriate.

Retraction is intended to correct the scholarly record and should not be interpreted as a disciplinary action against individual authors. Where serious research misconduct is suspected or established, the journal may communicate with the relevant author's institution or other competent authority.

All corrections and retractions will be handled consistently, transparently, and in accordance with accepted principles of publication ethics.
