Abstrak

Advanced English Grammar is a comprehensive textbook designed for advanced learners of English who seek to develop a deeper and more functional understanding of grammatical structures in academic and professional contexts. Moving beyond rule-based explanations, this book presents grammar as a dynamic resource for organizing information, expressing stance, and constructing logical arguments. It explores key areas of advanced grammar such as adverbials and information structure, conditional and hypothetical constructions, and their roles in discourse, rhetoric, and academic prediction. Each chapter integrates grammatical form with meaning and use, supported by clear explanations, authentic examples, and analytical exercises that promote critical thinking. Intended for university students, educators, and language professionals, Advanced English Grammar equips readers with the grammatical awareness and precision necessary for effective academic writing and advanced communication in English.
