Abstrak

Di tengah derasnya arus globalisasi dan disrupsi digital, kemampuan literasi tidak lagi terbatas pada membaca dan menulis. Masyarakat abad ke-21 dituntut untuk mampu memahami, menafsirkan, dan menghasilkan makna dalam berbagai bentuk dan media. Buku *Pendidikan Berbasis Multiliterasi: Menyiapkan Generasi Baru* hadir sebagai jawaban atas kebutuhan mendesak untuk memperluas cakupan literasi dalam dunia pendidikan. Buku ini mengupas secara komprehensif konsep multiliterasi, mulai dari fondasi teoretis, sejarah perkembangannya, jenis-jenis literasi yang relevan (digital, visual, kritis, dan budaya), hingga strategi implementasinya dalam konteks pembelajaran. Ditulis oleh para akademisi dari berbagai universitas di Indonesia, buku ini juga menyajikan studi kasus implementasi multiliterasi dari berbagai negara dan membahas tantangan serta arah masa depan pendidikan berbasis multiliterasi. Dengan pendekatan yang multidisipliner dan praktis, buku ini sangat relevan bagi guru, calon guru, pengambil kebijakan, dan pemerhati pendidikan yang ingin membentuk generasi pembelajar yang adaptif, kritis, inklusif, dan cakap digital. Melalui buku ini, pembaca diajak untuk tidak hanya memahami multiliterasi sebagai keterampilan, tetapi juga sebagai jalan untuk membangun masyarakat yang berpengetahuan, berbudaya, dan demokratis.
